Reminding on Salah

Assalamualaikum wbt

Just to share a little note on salah

Your ṣalāh is a conversation. The moment you are closest to Allah is in sujūd. He already knows what you seek, what weighs on your heart—but the question is: do you feel that you are truly speaking to Him?

Nothing you feel is hidden from Him.

Yet too often, we rush through the prayer as if it were a task to complete. Slow down—especially in sujūd. This is the place where a broken heart is mended, where burdens are lifted. He has invited you to stand before Him—so stand with حضور (presence), not just with your body.

Do you feel that you are talking to Him?

Ṣalāh is not a routine; it is a meeting. When you recite Al-Fātiḥah, He responds. Every word carries meaning. Every pause holds an opening.

And in sujūd, if tears come—let them come. Cry if you need to. There is no weariness in turning back to Him.

Never tire of believing that Allah can transform your prayer into a true conversation—one that heals, draws you near, and brings you back to Him again and again.
